About cmpliance

cmpliance exists because compliance teams were never meant to gather evidence.

They were meant to make decisions.

cmpliance.ai is the official website for cmpliance, an evidence-led compliance product operated by paterhn GmbH in Switzerland.

cmpliance exists for the work that comes before the sign-off: the evidence, risk context, ownership structure, review path, and proof pack a human needs before making an accountable compliance decision.

For decades, compliance software made the wrong work faster. More dashboards. More queues. More checklists. The tools improved, but the premise stayed the same.

That premise is breaking.

cmpliance changes the unit of work. Agents prepare the assessment. Humans review, challenge, decide, and sign. Evidence preserves the chain.

The thesis

Agents prepare compliance work. Humans make the call. Evidence proves the chain.

A name, not a typo

cmpliance is compliance without the o.

If search corrected you away from cmpliance, you are in the right place now: cmpliance.ai is the home of cmpliance, an evidence-led product for compliance assessments, proof packs, audit trails, and accountable decisions.

cmpliance is not affiliated with any similarly named regulatory-change-management product.

The mark

The lifecycle is in the mark.

Open arcs for the compliance work that must be prepared, reviewed, and closed. The arcs do not close themselves. The human closes the loop where judgment and accountability matter.

Why cmpliance exists

Compliance obligations scale with volume. Teams do not.

More AI systems, more counterparties, more vendors, more audits, more sanctions exposure, more regulatory records. The old answer is to add seats, stretch officers further, or ask people to reconstruct decisions after the fact.

That model does not scale with obligation. It scales with headcount.

cmpliance starts from the work itself. A reviewable assessment is a work unit. A proof pack is a work unit. A documented decision is a work unit. The product is not another place for officers to do the same work manually. It is a system that prepares the evidence, records the path, and gives the human a defensible basis for judgment.

Compliance teams were never meant to spend their best hours gathering files, chasing context, and rebuilding the record later. They were meant to judge risk, request missing evidence, escalate when needed, and sign off with a record built to withstand auditor and regulator scrutiny.

What stays human

cmpliance does not replace compliance judgment.

It removes the repetitive labor around the judgment: gathering, checking, structuring, citing, assembling, and recording. The human remains accountable for the decision. That is the point.

Agents can prepare the work at volume. Humans decide what the evidence means.

That boundary matters. A compliance product should not pretend regulatory accountability can be automated away. The stronger product is the one that makes human judgment faster, clearer, and better evidenced.

Start with one assessment. See the evidence. Review the decision path. Then decide what should scale.

Early access

cmpliance is in early access for teams that want compliance capacity without turning every new obligation into another manual queue.

If your team is preparing for AI governance, KYC/AML review, third-party risk, audit evidence, or decision records that must withstand scrutiny, cmpliance is built for that work.
